On day three, we crossed the Indiana/ Alabama border. We stopped in a Welcome Center for lunch and the Saturn 18 rocket was on display in the rest area. The boys enjoyed the exhibit, posters, and stickers on the space center. After making good time on the road, we had dinner in a Golden Corral, and made reservations for the night at Ozark Travel Park. On the way there we saw double rainbows. Unfortunately didn't get a picture of the double but did capture the single rainbow. Again the boys enjoyed the pool until it started raining. The boys are also learning how to help set up the motorhome when we arrive in a park and how to pack up again when it is time to leave. We are enjoying having them on this trip to visit their dad. One more day and we will reach Miramar Beach, Florida where we will stay a few days.
Travel log of our trip around USA. We became full time RVers on June 20, 2010 after sale of a home in mid-Michigan. We also sold most of our belongings by holding an auction. Our goal is to visit as much of the USA as possible and keep a record of our trip. We have converted most of our personal records to paperless. Currently former neighbors are forwarding mail.
