Travel log of our trip around USA. We became full time RVers on June 20, 2010 after sale of a home in mid-Michigan. We also sold most of our belongings by holding an auction. Our goal is to visit as much of the USA as possible and keep a record of our trip. We have converted most of our personal records to paperless. Currently former neighbors are forwarding mail.

2/18/2011 to 3/3/2011
During mid February through first part of March, we made a trip to Waco VA Hospital for Ted's once every three month checkups. During our stay in Waco we had lunch with cousins, Edith, Weldon and Bobbie and visited with friends Carline and Wade before returning to Marble Falls, TX. We were glad to find our renewed passports in the mail. Now we can travel outside the U.S. should we decide to make plans for a cruise to the Caribbean again. On 3/1/2011 we left Marble Falls and traveled to Parkview RV in Concan, TX. This was the first place we have visited that our Verizon phones did not have service. It was strange being disconnected from the world by phone or laptop for 3 days. We had a nice visit with my brother and his wife who lived near that area before leaving for our next trip West to Arizona. The Parview RV park did offer wireless service at a discount, but we decided to rough it for three days. They are also a Passport America park and offer very reasonable rates for "winter" Texans. It's 30-45 minute drive to a larger town with Walmarts, but a beautiful area to visit and located across the Frio River from a Texas state park. We would stay at the Parview RV campground again.
